First Impressions
A few of my first thoughts on the city of Buenos Aires and a few pictures of Belgrano, the neighborhood where I lived.
 
Iguaz�
The recount of our trip to the spectacular waterfalls of Iguaz� on the Argentine-Brazilian border.  Also a stop at the ruins of the Jesuit missions to the Guaran� and the Hacienda of one of Argentina's former presidents.
 
Cultural Observations
As the title indicates, a few thoughts on Argentine and Buenos Aires culture.
 
Tandil
The recount of a trip to the town of Tandil with my Argentine friends in which we went backpacking, rock climbing, and rappelling. Included is a shot of my Argentine parents.
 
Villa la Angostura
Our group's great adventure to the Argentine Patagonia.  Stories of skiing in the Andes, hiking, and not a small plethora of good mountain scenery.
 
Colonia del Sacramento
Our group's trip across the R�o de la Plata to the beautiful town of Colonia in Uruguay.
 
La Paz
The first half of my solo adventure to the north.  In this letter I relate my journey from Buenos Aires to La Paz, the capital of Bolivia.
 
Lago Titicaca
The second half of my journey.  Includes stories of Lake Titicaca, Peru, crossing the Andes, and Chile.
 
Estancia Santa Susana
Our group's trip to an Argentine ranch to eat the nation's famous beef, ride horses, and pretend we were gauchos.
Final Thoughts and Mexico
Just what the title says, plus our going away party and my stop in M�rida, Mexico to visit Er�n who spent a year at Portage Northern.
