The Late 1980's
As far as I know, there were no "Early Bird" patches printed after 1985. I've never seen one, and so I'm currently under the impression that my collection includes all the patches printed starting in 1986.
In contrast to the other rectangular patches printed in the 1980's, this one is rather small.
The last patch which featured the name Camp Rota-Kiwan.
This was the first year that the Cub Scout side of camp was opened, and to indicate that the camp no longer serviced only Boy Scouts the name was changed from "Camp" to "Reservation." This patch also served as the patch for the Cub Scout side of camp, whereas in later years the Cubs would have their own patches.
I've always thought that this is the most beautiful patch ever printed. It's too bad that my scanner doesn't pull out the colors better.
